Pyrography

Pyrography, the art of burning designs on wood or leather with heated tools or flame is one of my favorite art forms. I have been burning images and designs in wood since I was a child when I began burning graphics into kindling from the fire starter bin on winter evenings. Many of those pieces wound up tossed in the fire until I got the hang of burning on various species of wood and found my style. Every piece of wood is a canvas of its own and each piece burns differently from another posing a unique challenge on every design.  The items you see here can be recreated in similar manner for you or you may request an exclusive and custom creation.

Through the years I have burned cabin signs, stable signs with names and images of horses, dog house signs, bird houses, kitchen sets, clocks, wall décor, milk boxes, jewelry boxes, gourds, guitars, gun stocks and more.

To request custom art, I request that you call me at 717-357-7982 to discuss your item and be prepared to provide several good quality digital photos of your subject to KLeeRKreations@gmail.com. With your photos I will create a digital design for you to approve along with the size and estimated price for the piece. On average, from design to completed burning, the work typically takes four to five days to complete but could take longer depending on the level of detail. My pricing for custom pieces starts at $75.00 excluding shipping costs. My pricing structure is simple, time and material. 

All my wood burned pieces are sealed with polyurethane to protect the wood. Hanging pieces are finished with a sawtooth hanger on the back unless otherwise requested. Your order will ship immediately upon completion.
